Join Ericsson's Microwave Design team in Gothenburg and become part of the development of next-generation wireless transport solutions.As a Microwave Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design of advanced RF and microwave circuits used in Ericsson's MINI-LINK product portfolio. What you will do
- Design RF and microwave circuits such as power amplifiers, LNAs, filters, switches and matching networks.
- Simulate, analyse and optimize microwave designs using industry-standard tools.
- Perform laboratory measurements and verification of prototypes and products.
- Participate in the full development cycle from concept and requirements to verification and release.
- Collaborate with component suppliers, research organizations and internal development teams.
- Support technical investigations and feasibility studies for future technology development.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the microwave domain.
The skills you bring
- MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or an equivalent discipline, preferably with a Master's specialization in Wireless Photonics and Space Engineering.
- Knowledge of RF and microwave engineering.
- Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST or equivalent.
- Understanding of RF measurements and laboratory equipment.
- Interest in analog, microwave or high-frequency circuit design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
