About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The opportunity
AI is rewriting how enterprises work, and the winners will be the platforms where humans and AI agents collaborate natively — not bolted-on chatbots inside legacy tools. Slack is that platform: the System of Engagement where people, AI agents, data, and business apps meet in one flow of work.
We're expanding our Australian enterprise team to meet a surge in demand as the largest businesses move from experimenting with AI to operationalising it at scale. This is a build-and-own role for someone who wants to shape that market at the top end of town, not just work it.
What you'll do
Own the full sales cycle across a named set of enterprise accounts — prospecting through close — driving Annual Contract Value growth
Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite and senior stakeholders: diagnose enterprise-wide challenges and map Slack's agentic platform value to transformation outcomes that matter at board level
Run a multi-threaded, multi-year account strategy across large, complex organisations with numerous business units and stakeholders
Navigate enterprise procurement, legal, security, and technical evaluation processes to get large, complex deals to the finish line
Build and execute account plans that expand Slack's footprint across the enterprise, land-and-expand style
Champion customer feedback internally, shaping how Slack evolves for Australia's largest organisations
What you bring
8+ years of Enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding large quotas
Proven success running complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, building ROI-backed and transformation-led business cases that win C-suite and executive sponsorship
Deep experience partnering with customer success, solution engineering, legal, and partners to orchestrate large, cross-functional deals
Skilled at strategic account planning across long sales cycles — balancing whitespace expansion with pipeline generation and disciplined execution
The ability to translate AI and agentic concepts into enterprise-scale business value for both technical and executive audiences — no engineering background required
Strong executive presence and negotiation skills, with the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
Sharp commercial instincts: accurate forecasting, rigorous pipeline management, and genuine customer advocacy
Real curiosity about where agentic AI is heading and how it changes enterprise-scale work
Why Slack, why now
Slack was built for exactly this moment — where AI agents and people work side by side without switching tools or losing context. You're not selling a point solution; you're helping Australia's largest enterprises build the operating foundation their AI strategy runs on. It's a story that gets stronger every quarter, and as an Enterprise AE, you'll be the one telling it to the organisations that set the pace for everyone else.
