Your Impact
As an Engineering Manager for the Webex Partner Hub, you will lead the architecture and scaling of a robust ecosystem designed to transform how our partners conduct business. You will drive partner success by delivering intuitive, high-performance capabilities that empower them to seamlessly manage customer lifecycles, provision complex services, and leverage actionable, data-driven insights.
By prioritizing platform scalability and architectural excellence, you will ensure our infrastructure not only meets the current demands of our global partner network but also evolves to anticipate future market needs. You will foster a collaborative engineering culture that bridges the gap between technical innovation and business value, ultimately accelerating revenue growth, reducing operational friction, and solidifying the Webex Partner Hub as the industry-leading platform for digital collaboration services.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Service Owner for Partner Hub, with end-to-end accountability for service health, reliability, security, operational readiness, and lifecycle management.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on the Partner Hub platform.
Drive the technical roadmap and delivery of features that enhance partner productivity and platform scalability.
Foster an agile, high-velocity development environment while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD practices, security, and observability.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a formal leadership or management capacity.
Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
Comprehensive understanding of modern web technologies, scalable API design, and cloud-native architectures.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-functional projects and consistently deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in defining and executing technical roadmaps that align with broader organizational goals. Ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, actionable team priorities.
Demonstrated success in managing stakeholder relationships at the Senior Manager and Director, driving alignment across organizational boundaries to deliver high-impact outcomes.
Experience architecting or managing the development of large-scale, distributed systems or SaaS platforms. Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and the ability to guide teams through complex technical trade-offs.
A strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing engineering teams. Experience in fostering a culture of engineering excellence, including CI/CD, security, and observability, while empowering team members through regular mentorship and clear feedback.
Experience leading teams through organizational change or adopting new technologies (e.g., integrating AI tools into development workflows to drive automation and process efficiency).
Prior experience in the collaboration, partner-facing portal, or B2B SaaS space is highly desirable.
