Job Summary
As a Machine Learning Engineer 2 (GenAI), you will build and maintain GenAI-powered applications that enable creative teams to produce brand-compliant media content at scale. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement features, integrate AI models, and ensure production reliability. This role focuses on hands-on development -- turning architectural designs into working software that delivers real value to creative professionals.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack GenAI applications for media content creation (image, video, audio, text)

• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services using Python/FastAPI

• Integrate generative AI models and services (LLMs, image generation, video generation) into production applications

• Support frontend development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks

• Implement data pipelines between creative and marketing systems to enable agentic workflows

• Build and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and AI agent integrations

• Support deployment and operations of containerized applications on cloud platforms

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance

• Write and maintain technical documentation and API specifications

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior engineers on implementation approaches

• Provide technical support for AI tools used by creative teams

• Collaborate with US-based teams on requirements and implementation strategies

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI application development

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Strong Python programming skills -- backend development, scripting, API integration

• JavaScript/TypeScript (working level)

• Full-stack engineering fundamentals

• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication protocols, and request/response patterns

• Database knowledge (NoSQL or SQL)

• Knowledge of current AI technologies -- LLMs, AI Agents, MCP servers & tools

• Understanding of prompt engineering and generative AI model APIs

• Good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams across time zones

• Self-driven with the ability to execute independently once given clear direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)

• Containerization concepts (Docker, deployment)

• Cloud platform experience (GCP preferred)

• Interest in creative technology and marketing technology

• Experience working with US-based teams in agile environments
