Director, Operations Fulfillment

As a vital member of our Operations leadership team, the Director of Operations Fulfillment is responsible end-to-end for engineering coordination, permitting, construction execution, installation, and commissioning of new infrastructure projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting organizational goals and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include: 

Program Leadership 

  • Deploy and maintain project management frameworks, processes, and reporting structures to support corporate functions
  • Translate business needs, including contracts, into detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure alignment of corporate cross-functional teams on capital projects with strategic and operational goals.

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional project teams across corporate functions through all phases of project delivery.
  • Accountable for project KPI’s (product and project cost targets, timeline, risk, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction).
  • Work closely with Strategic Initiatives Lead, when applicable, to support project execution of corporate functions (Finance, Legal, People, etc.)
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide executive-level updates and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program management practices, tools, and processes. 
  • Manage vendor, contractor, and consultant relationships

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify and provide guidance to mitigate potential project risks and delays.
  • Track compliance requirements and ensure there is clear ownership and accountability of each requirement.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner cross-functionally within the organization to coordinate project needs.
  • Communicate project progress and challenges to leadership.
  • Maintain transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, issue resolution and decision points.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or related field.
 
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Proven experience leading organizational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
 
Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent strongly preferred.

Travel Requirements: 

  • Up to 25-50%

Salary & Compensation Information:

  • Salary: $180,000 - $210,000

Equity Grant:  

  • The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
