Yext is seeking a visionary and highly technical Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics to lead our data strategy and build a world-class analytics foundation. You will be responsible for the architecture, governance, and delivery of actionable insights across the enterprise. You are a leader who understands that data is only as good as its accuracy and security, and you are passionate about defining the "metrics that matter" to drive growth in GTM, Finance, HR., and other corporate functions. What You'll Do- Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise data strategy that supports Yext’s scaling needs, focusing on high-performance architecture and self-service analytics.
- Modern Data Stack Ownership: Lead the technical management and optimization of our data ecosystem, specifically centered around Snowflake (Data Warehouse), Matillion (ETL/ELT), and Tableau (Visualization).
- Functional Partnership: Collaborate with leaders in GTM (Sales/Marketing), Finance, HR, and other corporate functions to define, standardize, and automate KPIs and "metrics that matter" for each corporate function.
- Data Governance & Security: Establish and enforce rigorous data governance standards, ensuring all enterprise data is secure, controlled, and compliant with global privacy regulations while maintaining a single source of reference.
- AI & Innovation: Act as the internal champion for AI and ML initiatives within the analytics space, identifying opportunities to leverage predictive modeling and LLMs to enhance business decision-making.
- People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse team of data engineers, analysts, and architects, fostering a culture of curiosity, precision, and technical excellence.
- Analytics Delivery: Oversee the design and rollout of sophisticated Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions that provide executive leadership with real-time visibility into business performance.
- Data Pipeline Excellence: Ensure the reliability and scalability of data ingestion and transformation processes, prioritizing data quality and low-latency reporting.
- 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Business Intelligence, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Matillion (or similar cloud-native ETL tools). You should be able to architect complex data models and optimize warehouse performance.
- Visualization Expert: Advanced proficiency in Tableau; experience building executive-level reporting suites that distill complex data into clear business narratives.
- Functional Fluency: Strong understanding of the data structures and key metrics for SaaS businesses associated with GTM (LTV, CAC, Pipeline), Finance (ARR, Churn, GAAP Revenue), and HR (Headcount, Attrition).
- Security Mindset: A background in managing data within a SOX-compliant environment, with a deep commitment to data privacy and access control.
- AI Enthusiast: A proven interest or early-stage experience in implementing AI/ML frameworks to solve internal business problems.
- Strategic Communicator: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, translating technical data challenges into business outcomes and strategic recommendations.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally and on an international, cross-cultural basis.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
