How would you lead a team to transform data into actionable insights that drive innovation in customer experience? As a Director, Data Insights at Spectrum, you will oversee a talented group responsible for front-end reporting on our industry-leading metrics platform, collaborating with product leaders to define, design and deliver automated dashboards that enable data-driven decisions. Your leadership will empower teams to optimize product performance and elevate customer satisfaction across our business solutions.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Direct teams to manage and deliver automated reporting and dashboards for Spectrum's customer-facing products
  • Define key metrics, data visualizations and ETL requirements to support product usage reporting
  • Collaborate with Product leadership and cross-functional partners to identify and integrate new data sources
  • Guide the creation of elegant, customer-readable reports utilizing tools such as Tableau and Excel
  • Support project intake, roadmap development, staffing plans and budget execution in partnership with senior leadership
  • Ensure all projects adhere to software development life cycle standards and are completed efficiently
  • Foster effective communication and partnerships across technical and corporate functional groups

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Experience
  • 7+ years of telecommunication industry leadership experience
  • 7+ years in customer-facing products/services environments
  • 7+ years working within a data platform/data analysis environment
  • 7+ years managing complex projects
  • Experience leading teams of data analysts and data scientists

Skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Expertise in analyzing, interpreting and presenting data
  • Advanced SQL proficiency
  • Mastery of Tableau desktop and server design and implementation
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with advanced analytics processes and reporting design
  • Ability to manage complex projects effectively
  • Strong business acumen and sense of urgency
  • Skilled in communicating technical concepts across all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage development within multiple technology stacks
  • Understanding of development strategies, project management and technical consultancy
  • Willingness to continually expand Cable and IP product knowledge
  • Capability to motivate and manage peer groups to achieve team objectives
  • Advanced problem resolution techniques and solution-finding skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint

The base pay for this position generally is between
$138,800.00 and $246,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
