Job Description Summary:
The Director, Colleges & Universities is responsible for the strategic planning and acquisition of key colleges and universities while building relationships and partnering with the institutions. The candidate will ensure alignment of business priorities; compile and analyze financial, competitive, and other information about potential business partners, deals with national accounts, negotiations with potential clients and business partners. This individual contributor will guide others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures.
LOCATION: Ideally this candidate will reside in Southern California or Utah, but there is openness to other metro areas within the West Region (CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, CO, UT)
What You’ll Do for Us?

Responsible for the strategic planning and acquisition of Key Colleges and Universities in the West Region .

Responsible for aligning with regional leaders and bottlers on long-term C&U (Colleges & Universities) asset acquisition, investment strategy and business plans with schools.

Responsible for building “unbreakable relationships” and advancing partnerships with schools’ senior leaders via the Collaborative Business Planning Process, Reinforcing our Coca-Cola Partner Commitment, student marketing and sustainability work.

Collaborates on C&U Channel Plans with Category leads to enable key platforms to be leveraged on college campuses.

Collaborating with region marketing enables our per caps (amount of packages per consumer sold) to increase and enables our regions to achieve their annual business plans.

This role will be to manage large system sponsorship investments and will also be responsible for managing direct marketing expenses.

This role is in place to manage our long term (5-10) year partnerships, enabling our aspirations to come to fruition, doubling our sales revenue on campuses over that term.
Qualification & Requirements:

5 or more years of experience in consumer-packaged goods / beverages industry or sports business

Cross-functional and agency management

Analytics experience – ability to draw insights and action from data

Planning experience - strategic thinking (forward-looking vision and anticipating future needs)

Marketing Asset Negotiation Experience

Marketing Execution experience – understanding of “Path to Purchase” principles

Pay Range:
$153,000 - $175,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
