About the role
TeamMate, a business unit of Wolters Kluwer, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist focused on content marketing to support our growing risk and compliance business. This role combines strategic content planning with hands-on writing and editing, creating thought leadership articles, technical blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, website copy, and product messaging that help position the business as a trusted resource in the GRC, information security, risk and compliance markets.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, storyteller, and content strategist who can translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for B2B SaaS audiences. This person will be comfortable creating content directly, developing multi-quarter content roadmaps, managing external writers, and partnering across demand generation, sales, product, and marketing to support the full customer journey.

Key responsibilities
Create high-value written content, including thought leadership articles, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns, website copy, and product messaging for B2B SaaS audiences
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences across the buying journey
Develop and execute content strategies for organic SEO, AI discoverability, and social channels to increase brand visibility and recognition among target audiences
Build and implement a multi-quarter content strategy that supports authority-building in the GRC, information security, risk, and compliance space
Manage external writers and content contributors, including assigning work, editing drafts, refining messaging, and ensuring all content meets quality and brand standards
Build editorial calendars, content workflows, and repeatable processes that improve consistency, production velocity, and alignment across channels
Develop original research, industry reports, and market insights that educate prospects and help differentiate the business from competitors
Repurpose and amplify content into engaging social media posts that extend reach, increase audience engagement, and support brand awareness goals
Track content performance metrics, analyze what resonates with audiences, and refine the strategy based on data and campaign insights
Partner with demand generation, sales, product, and global marketing teams to ensure content aligns with business goals and supports the full customer journey
Support content distribution and promotion strategies across digital campaigns, social media, email, events, and sales enablement channels
About you
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of B2B SaaS content marketing experience, ideally with a portfolio demonstrating multiple content types
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written content and refine work from external writers
Strong content creation skills and the ability to translate technical or complex subject matter into clear, audience-focused narratives
Experience building thought leadership programs, content roadmaps, editorial calendars, and full-funnel content strategies
Deep understanding of SEO, AI discoverability, organic social strategy, content performance analytics, and data-driven optimization
Experience managing freelance writers, agencies, or content contributors while maintaining hands-on involvement in content creation
Experience developing social media posts with an understanding of social engagement metrics and content performance analysis
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter who can work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote teams
Familiarity with GRC, risk management, information security, or compliance is preferred
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua or similar tools is a plus
Experience with social media and employee advocacy tools such as Sprout Social is preferred
Event content strategy, media relations, PR, content distribution, or promotion experience is advantageous
