Team Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL and Spark SQL skills, and experience in ETL setup. This is a data analysis role, Exposure to cloud platforms like GCP or AWS is a plus.. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL/Spark SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Support ETL setup and data validation processes.
- Create reports and dashboards using BI tools
- Perform data quality checks and root cause analysis.
- Generate and maintain data reports using tools like Excel, or other reporting platforms.
- Analyze and interpret Java logs to troubleshooting and report issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in SQL and Spark SQL and Unix commands.
- Exposure to ETL tools and data pipeline concepts.
- Basic understanding of GCP or AWS (preferred).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
