Location - Top candidate would be hybrid out of MetLife's Bridgewater, NJ or Oriskany, NY offices. Open to fully virtual.
Role Value Proposition : In order to sustain our leadership position in market , our dental product must continue to invest in our product offering, networks, features and experience. The Dental Product Consultant job has responsibility and accountability for Dental Product Development initiatives as well ongoing subject matter support for our internal partners. The role will support profitable growth targets in key market segments as well as improve customer experience, Drive Engagement, Simplify Processes and Expand our network. The position and team serve as product subject matter experts and is involved in industry related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute product development and delivery initiatives related to the overall Dental Product Strategy. I.e., new products, features, network initiatives, servicing channels and/or compliance related projects. Ideation through Implementation.
- Responsible for ideation and development of new dental products/solutions which are fit for use and support of existing product portfolio.
- Support agile product development process from backlog refinement, prioritization as well as communication of context and assigning business value.
- Execute and support solutions for client specific requests.
- Support and execute market research initiatives.
- Responsibility for business outcomes and steering the ART to develop the right solutions.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of product development experience
- Advanced knowledge of group insurance industry, competitive landscape, and keeps abreast of industry trends.
- Expert understanding of the dental market segment
- Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills
Preferred:
- Strong analytical, complex problem solving, decision-making and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication - both verbal and written
- Experience working in an agile development methodology.
- Focus on customers, manages performance effectively and inspires a shared vision.
- Ability to work as effective partner at various levels and across many functional areas.
- Proven experience in Agile Development methodology
The salary range for applicants for this position is 81,500 - 125,000.
