About this opportunity:
The Data Scientist for Service Line Operate Service Management Service Improvement is a key position reporting to the Manager - Data Science, and a member of BCSM Service Line Operate Service Management Service Improvement Team.

The Data Scientist for Service Line Operate Service Management Service Improvement develops new solutions and maintain a strong analytical capability to improve service delivery by executing advanced capabilities such as analytics, machine learning skills and tools.

What you will do:
- Develop/Own best in class statistical models (descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive & predictive) covering standard NOC parameters (Alarms, Tickets, WOs).
- Use cases / model creation (Live Site down, Genset Battery, CR dashboards etc.) with real time data and own/Manage/Revise Capability catalog.
- Develops scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract knowledge or insights to drive the future of applied analytics.
- Translate data algorithms and complex ideas into actionable management insights and solutions.
- Translate operator business objectives into business intelligence through regressive data analytics.
- Drive reuse of analytics capabilities as per demands in other contracts.
- Analytical model development & visualization request handling.
- Model LCM & Enhancements over existing models.
- Explore and work on Big Data tools and technologies to sustain Ericsson's continued operational transformation objectives and market leadership.
- Continually innovate data reports and data visualizations based on defined objectives such that they bring overview for executive level viewership.
- Recognize irrelevant information and prevent it from clouding the overall picture.
- Coordinate with Proactive Problem Management/MSCLT/SDU teams to build models.
- Work with MSDMs/CPM, Operations SME & other stakeholders to conduct value-stream mapping & propose elimination of any non-value activities - to gain operational efficiencies.
The skills you bring:
- 7+ years of total experience with 3+ years of experience in Data Science, data modelling, Machine Learning, Statistics.
- Hands-on experience working in the related domains and/or Service Management functions.
- Strong understanding of Managed Services environment is mandatory.
- Strong telecom background in any of the domains (RAN/Core) is mandatory.
- Prior experience of working in MBNL operations is a plus point.
- Strong knowledge and experience in working with Data Analytic tools i.e., TABLEAU etc.
- Good understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Technologies.
- Strong Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, SPSS, SPAS.
- Good command of programming language and software environment for statistical analysis, graphics representation and reporting i.e., R, Python.
- Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Driven by behaviors such as: Data driven, Agile, Automation, Value Focus, Innovation.
- Must have the ability to drive projects independently.
- Excellent English language skills oral and written.
- Self-motivated and works excellently under pressure.
- High degree of accountability and integrity.
- Highly developed skills in Interpersonal communication and ability to communicate effectively.
