The Role

Crossix Analytics is a business within Veeva dedicated to advancing healthcare marketing with analytics, innovative planning, targeting, measurement, and optimization solutions. Positioned at the center of big data, innovative technology, and multichannel media, Veeva Crossix provides life sciences companies with insights to help make strategic business decisions and drive improved patient outcomes. 

We are looking for a high performing methodologist to join our team in New York. The right candidate enjoys deconstructing complex problems and building analytics products, prioritizing simplicity and efficacy over complexity.

You will serve as a key driver in our business’ commercial success, owning methodological and data science research end-to-end. The position is offered at multiple levels of seniority.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate ambiguous business questions into concrete analytical frameworks.
  • Own the technical design and implementation of these solutions. You will select the most pragmatic tool for the specific constraint, ranging from rules-based logic to machine learning pipelines.
  • Collaborate with production engineers to deploy machine learning applications and product managers to deploy rule-based methodologies into production.
  • Continuously improve best practices (research, coding, testing, automation).
  • Productively engage with customer analytics & data science teams to evolve early-stage products and to create customer understanding of our methodologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of hands-on analytics and data science experience
  • Expert in Python and SQL
  • Demonstrated track record of designing & implanting analytical methodologies for products
  • Proficient with source control workflows like GitHub
  • Some experience working with big data tools like Spark and AWS
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Rx & Medical Claims data expertise
  • HCP data expertise
  • Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing causal inference methodologies
  • PySpark application development experience

Compensation

  • Base pay: $115,000 - $165,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
