WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborates with peers and colleagues to extract meaning and interpretation from data sets within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Engages with assigned leaders and teams to understand business objectives and challenges.
- Works with peers, colleagues, and more senior Data Scientists to develop relevant data collection and analytical methods to investigate challenges and develop meaningful insights, including the application of appropriate ML algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
- Develops MLOPS process for data evaluation and model performance.
- Researches and evaluates large volumes of data from disparate sources to identify statistical patterns and generate insights, including experience with data cleaning, feature engineering, and data augmentation techniques to improve model performance.
- Includes the ability to critically evaluate model outputs, identify potential biases, and interpret model explainability (XAI).
- Develops clear and easily understood data visualizations to facilitate communication and understanding, experience with tools that support interactive dashboards and storytelling with data is a plus.
- Shares analysis and project updates with senior team members and management; proactively communicates model performance metrics, limitations, and potential biases.
- Develops, trains, evaluates, and maintains machine learning models using appropriate frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, PySpark).
- Contributes to the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions, working closely with engineering teams for deployment and integration.
- Stays current with the latest advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, and proactively explores opportunities to apply these advancements to solve business problems.
WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)
Required
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.
- Bachelor's: Minimum two (2) years of work in Data Scientist roles. Masters: Minimum one (1) years of work in Data Scientist roles.
- Experience in AWS environments: Athena, S3, BedRock, Sage Maker AI, and AWS Glue and SnowFlake environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Working experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Proven experience ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams to successfully execute large-scale projects.
- Strong ability to create, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data sets, draw conclusions, and communicate findings and recommendations to others.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
- Excellent business acumen with strong story-telling skills to communicate effectively and drive action.
- Must possess an internal client service orientation and work effectively in a matrix management environment.
- Ability to grasp and explain complicated subject matter to others across the organization that are less connected to the situation and/or are less technically oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure and think analytically.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
USD 89,400.00 - 134,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
