About the Role: Data Migration SpecialistAs a Data Migration Specialist, you will ensure new Podium customers start with clean, accurate, and well-structured data from day one. You’ll work closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers to extract, clean, transform, and import data from legacy systems into Podium.
This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll work with Python, spreadsheets, and AI tools to streamline processes and solve complex data challenges. You’ll also play a key role in resolving high-priority customer data issues quickly and effectively.
What You’ll Do- Own end-to-end data migrations: Extract data from third-party systems (CSV, APIs, database exports), clean and normalize it, and upload into Podium
- Automate and scale: Use Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets to transform and validate large datasets
- Leverage AI tools: Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and internal AI systems to accelerate data cleaning and validation
- Improve processes: Identify patterns and propose improvements to make migrations faster and more accurate
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Onboarding and CSM teams to define requirements and ensure data accuracy
- Handle escalations: Troubleshoot and resolve post-launch data issues with urgency and clear communication
- 1–2 years of experience in a data or technical role (Data Analyst, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding, etc.)
- Strong Python skills (pandas preferred) for data cleaning and transformation
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas)
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
- SQL experience
- Experience working with REST APIs
- SaaS onboarding, implementation, or technical support experience
- Familiarity with CRM or business data models
