About the role.
The Customer Marketing Supervisor Retail (Central America) is responsible for developing and executing communication and trade marketing strategies across Central America to drive sales growth, strengthen brand equity, and optimize channel performance. This role transforms brand strategies into impactful market execution through collaboration with sales teams, distributors, key customers, and cross-functional partners. By leveraging shopper insights, market intelligence, and performance analytics, the role helps maximize sell-in and sell-out results while supporting sustained business growth.
What you'll be doing.
  • Develop and execute communication and trade marketing strategies aligned with business and brand objectives across Central America.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns, activations, and commercial initiatives that drive sales performance.
  • Partner closely with sales teams, distributors, and key customers to ensure excellent in-market execution.
  • Design and implement point-of-sale materials, merchandising standards, and visibility programs that enhance shopper engagement.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, scan data, and sales results to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets and evaluate initiatives to deliver strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Support product launches and category growth initiatives through effective execution across markets.
  • Develop tools, materials, and guidelines that enable sales teams to improve customer engagement and execution effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as sell-out, market share, distribution, visibility, reach, engagement, CTR, and CPC.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, agencies, and external partners to deliver integrated commercial plans.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.MBA considered an asset.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Customer Marketing, or related commercial roles, preferably within FMCG or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated experience working with distributors and driving commercial execution excellence.
  • Strong understanding of route-to-market strategies and channel dynamics.
  • Experience collaborating with creative and media agencies to support brand-building initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused marketing programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Central America and spend significant time in the field.

About the team.
The Customer Marketing Supervisor Retail is part of the Marketing organization and reports to the Head of Marketing. This role operates at a regional level, supporting multiple Central American markets and working closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, distributors, agencies, and key retail customers. The position serves as a critical link between marketing strategy and commercial execution, helping drive revenue growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility across the region. The role does not currently have direct reports.
