Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data Engineering team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Mexico City, Torre Mayor Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining highly scalable data pipelines across Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse. You will be responsible for managing our cloud-based data ecosystem and ensuring the reliability of our Corporate datalake and analytics data mart, while also contributing to the evolution of our Corporate Analytics Platform.

We will count on you to:

• Create and maintain highly scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Apache Spark/Scala, SQL, and Python.
• Manage a growing cloud-based data ecosystem and ensure the reliability of our Corporate datalake and analytics data mart.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of the Corporate Analytics Platform and Integrated data model.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in our data stack and guide learning advancements for the team.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to the Data Engineering team in all phases of work, including analysis, design, and architecture.
• Negotiate and influence changes outside of the team to continuously shape and improve the Data strategy.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 years of experience using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Experience working with AWS or any other Cloud service platform compatible with Databricks.
• Knowledge in Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Data Factory (desirable)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
