Job Title: Site DD&T Lead
Location: Mexico, Naucalpan
About the Role:
At the forefront for success as the Site Digital, Data & Technology Lead, you will balance a two-speed environment: the new world of innovation enabled by rapidly changing technology, and the established world of defect-free, stable execution. An understanding of our business imperatives is paramount and needs to be balanced with thoughtful and creative change through digital technologies and contemporary data analytics capabilities. You will shape and lead digital innovation at manufacturing site level, while maintaining global alignment, through existing and emerging technology. You will report to the Head of Data, Digital & Technology.
How you will contribute:

  • Be the primary contact in Naucalpan for all DD&T related projects, services and support within the assigned functions/businesses/programs.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives, planning process and making technology recommendations to increase operational value.
  • Align Site Strategy with DD&T Roadmap & Strategy and lead Tier 3 Site Digital Roadmap planning & execution.
  • Support all DD&T transformational initiatives and apply to existing priorities.
  • Be an advisor to the business, influencing stakeholders at all levels and guide and co-create new capabilities with the business that are directly relevant to the manufacturing site improvement strategy. You will align expectations between the business and service delivery, and accountable for driving business value.
  • Communicate priorities driven from global DD&T to plant level senior leadership.
  • Drive a risk management strategy that addresses operational integrity, compliance and cyber risk.
  • Ensure GxP compliance within the infrastructure environment.
  • Review multiple team, group, or service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results) and adherence to processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and provide services promptly.
  • Foster a collaborative environment for mentoring, learning, and innovation to help develop employees. Evolve the team in the context of a major digital transformation.
  • Track key performance indicators to ensure alignment with plant and global functions.
  • Create and manage both Capital and Operational budgets.
  • Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics and create operational mechanisms to ensure a steady environment.
  • Be the single point of contact in Naucalpan for all DD&T related projects, services and sup-port within the assigned functions/businesses/programs.
  • Participate in Function's/Business'/Program's leadership team meetings.
  • Provide regular updates on planned initiatives and reports on IT operations and projects to the Covington site and/or FoF-Program.
  • Participate in the strategy and objective alignments with the operational leadership


What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of systems experience incl. 3-5+ years of leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with software application implementations and knowledge with network infrastructure including technology stacks within a (pharmaceutical) plant environment is mandatory
  • Collaborative work skills with partner with global portfolios and implement new initiatives
  • Knowledge of Lean operational techniques would be ideal.
  • Understanding of Business-Processes in manufacturing/labs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a widely dispersed team (time-zones/geographies).
  • Ability to creativity address technical challenges in highly regulated and complex environment.
