Your Impact 

  • This role requires a self-motivated, flexible individual capable of balancing multiple complex projects simultaneously while driving AI-led transformation. 
  • Connect with Cisco internal, customers, and partners across functions and boundaries to achieve significant results for Customers as well as Cisco's success.   
  • Identify and propose to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of CX functions/processes/projects delivery.   
  • Assist Engineering team to improve product and solution features, updates, and roadmap.   
  • Help customers in achieving business outcomes, operational, program, or service objectives.   
  • Actively contribute to CX PM communities.
     

Responsibilities: 

  • Project Execution & Coordination: Support project tasks and coordinate migration change windows under senior PMs supervision.
  • Planning & Resource Management: Gather delivery inputs (resources, budget, timelines) to draft project plans, track task assignments, and manage dependencies.
  • ·Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Identify customer priorities, route inquiries to senior staff, and interface with stakeholders to support issue resolution.
  • Reporting & Tool Proficiency: Utilize Cisco delivery and reporting tools to track action items, monitor project financials (budgets/costs), and provide clear Project status updates.
  • Professional Development: Build foundational PM knowledge, technical domain expertise, AI fluency, and familiarity with Cisco product and service terminology.
  • Leverage AI assistants and prompt engineering to automate routine project management tasks including real-time meeting intelligence, action item tracking, and status reporting to maximize productivity and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations working in tandem with the Account leads
  • Contribute to the evolution of PMO methodologies and internal program optimization by collaborating with the Project Management Community. 
  • Consult with customers and partners to plan, design, install, configure, and integrate Cisco’s suite of products to accelerate business outcomes. 
  • Identify and drive automation opportunities, leading teams of engineers to implement solutions that increase delivery perfection and operational efficiency. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant project management experience supporting/ leading customer facing projects.
  • Education: Engineering Degree preferably in an IT / Tech stream
  • Education: MBA from a reputed institute or 2 year additional work experience with relevant exposure.
  • Exposure in managing scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, risk and communications of a project. 
  • Exposure in the deployment of leading-edge technologies in IT infrastructure environment. 
  • Has basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and general network architecture. 
  • Has experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams with global presence. 
  • Have good understanding of the various delivery methodologies adopting to different contract types. 
  • Proficiency in English language (Written and oral).
  • Technical knowledge on Cisco hardware and software preferred 
  • Expertise in tools such as Microsoft Project Plan (MPP), Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications : 

  • Proven experience in Telecom/Service Provider Infrastructure project delivery. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment to drive outcome-based execution.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with proven negotiation and executive-level presentation abilities.Telcom/ Service Provider Infrastructure project experience.
  • Having Agile/Scrum project experience would be an added advantage.
  • Adaptable to diverse time zone requirements to meet global schedules.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required by project scope.
