Waltonen Engineering is seeking a dedicated Creo Instructor/Designer to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Operate under the supervision of Waltonen Engineering Manager
- Mentor and collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and resolve Creo-related challenges, fostering a supportive and knowledgeable environment
- Design and check 3D models for defense vehicles, utilizing Creo to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Deliver comprehensive course instruction and demonstrations for Creo learners, both in-person and online as needed
- Stay updated with the latest Creo features, tools, and industry trends to enhance instructional content
- Propose innovative class offerings to the Engineering Manager as required
- Participate in mandatory orientation and complete all compliance training
- Provide instruction and guidance as required, with the flexibility to undertake local travel to support operational needs and ensure the highest standards of Creo training across various locations
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Creo software for design, modeling, and checking
- Experience in instructing or training individuals in Creo
- Ability to troubleshoot and assist Detailers and Designers with Creo-related challenges
- Aptitude for teaching (onsite or virtual), ensuring a quality learning experience
- Demonstrated instructional skills and experience
- Exceptional communication abilities to effectively teach technical concepts to a diverse audience
- Must be a team player with strong collaborative skills
- Willingness to engage in local travel on an occasional basis
- Ability to work between 40-60 hours per week based on project demands
- Must be willing to work remotely on Saturdays on an as-needed basis to meet customer demands
- Only United States citizens can be considered
- Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- An Associate’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
