Create detailed product layouts and solid models for complex assemblies, perform design computations, prepare specifications/BOMs, collaborate with drafters/detailers, and ensure designs meet customer and quality requirements.

Design and detail tooling using NX/Unigraphics from concept through 3D modeling and 2D drawings. Perform engineering calculations, material selection, bills of materials, and collaborate with drafters to meet customer requirements and quality systems.

Support engineering projects to create product sequence sheets and time studies, design ergonomic operator stations, produce timing and weld documentation, coordinate design/regulatory groups, prepare specifications, execute quality initiatives, meet customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement for automotive BIW tooling.

Lead and supervise designers, detailers, and checkers; present technical information to customers; perform daily CAD design tasks; meet deadlines; communicate with customers, peers, and subordinates; multitask and prioritize work within the quality system.

Place automated robotic systems in manufacturing facilities using CAD (including FactoryCAD), develop zone and system layouts to optimize processes, ensure proper robotic placement and safety, collaborate with processing, simulation, and design teams, and occasionally travel to customer sites to support implementations.

Manage and control manufacturing programs, leading cost, schedule, and performance. Direct program planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and a team. Establish risk identification and mitigation processes, ensure quality system compliance, and resolve manufacturing fixture/tooling issues. Must have hands-on manufacturing project experience (machining, tool build, welding, CMM) and travel as needed.

Responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce machined parts, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and collaborating across shifts.

The CNC Machinist will produce machined parts, set up and operate CNC machines, maintain safety operations, and ensure equipment upkeep.

Simulate robotic systems using Process Simulate to ensure collision-free layouts, meet cycle-rate and customer standards. Support robot selection, cycle-time optimization, sequencing, offline programming, and tooling validation. Mentor junior simulation engineers, collaborate with Mechanical Design, Processing, and System Layout teams, and meet customer deadlines and quality-system requirements.
