Job Description SummaryThe Ultrasound Country Sales Manager is responsible for leading the commercial strategy, sales execution, and market development of the GE HealthCare Ultrasound portfolio across the Philippines. This role drives sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, strategic account penetration, and customer engagement while leading a high-performing sales organization. The role partners closely with customers, distributors, channel partners, applications and products teams, service, marketing, and regional leadership to strengthen GE HealthCare’s leadership position in ultrasound and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
This role is a critical commercial leadership position responsible for accelerating GE HealthCare’s Ultrasound growth agenda in the Philippines while strengthening customer partnerships and expanding market leadership.

Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesCommercial Leadership & Growth
  • Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy and operating plan for the Ultrasound business in the Philippines.
  • Deliver orders, revenue, market share, profitability, and operating plan commitments.
  • Drive growth across Women’s Health, Cardiovascular, Comprehensive Care, Point-of-Care, and emerging ultrasound segments.
  • Build strong sales pipelines and maintain forecast accuracy through disciplined opportunity management.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and commercial operating mechanisms.
Strategic Account Management
  • Develop and execute account plans for key public and private healthcare institutions.
  • Strengthen executive-level relationships with hospital leadership, clinicians, procurement stakeholders, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Support enterprise and multi-modality selling initiatives across GE HealthCare.
  • Drive competitive conversion strategies and customer retention programs.
Sales Team Leadership
  • Develop, coach, and lead a high-performance commercial organization.
  • Coordinate among ULS team to establish clear performance expectations and accountability mechanisms with team members.
  • In partnership with Regional ULS segment leaders, drive regular performance reviews, talent development discussions, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement among ULS team.
Channel & Distributor Management
  • Develop and manage distributor and channel partner strategies to expand market coverage.
  • Ensure channel effectiveness, capability development, compliance, and commercial discipline.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and improve regional coverage, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao.
  • Monitor channel performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Market Development & Customer Engagement
  • Drive ultrasound technology adoption through customer education, clinical evidence generation, and professional society engagement.
  • Partner with applications, marketing, and service teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Support product launches and New Product Introduction (NPI) commercialization plans.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, reimbursement dynamics, and emerging customer needs.
Commercial Operations
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and operational rigor through CRM discipline.
  • Lead pricing, contracting, tender strategy, and commercial approvals within established authority limits.
  • Ensure compliance with GE HealthCare policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage operating expenses within approved budgets.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with service, applications, finance, operations, and regional commercial teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Partner with marketing to develop demand-generation programs and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and long-term business development activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of commercial experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, diagnostics, imaging, or capital equipment.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience with demonstrated people management responsibility.
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering revenue growth and market share gains.
  • Experience managing strategic healthcare accounts and complex sales cycles.
  • Strong financial acumen, forecasting, and commercial planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Philippines.
