Role Overview
The Head of Agent Collaboration & Partnership (ACP) provides strategic leadership for New York Life's Agent Collaboration platform, which brings together Agent Mentoring (AMP), District Agent (DA), Agent Teaming (ATP), and Professional Alliance (PAP) within a unified operating model. These programs support agent development, collaboration, succession planning, practice growth, and leadership development across the Agency distribution system.
In this role, you will set the long-term vision and strategic direction for ACP while overseeing program operations, field engagement, marketing and communications, technology enhancements, and business transformation initiatives. You will establish priorities, governance, and operating standards that enable ACP to scale while delivering a consistent experience for agents, Field Managers, and Home Office stakeholders.
You will lead through a cross-functional organization and partner extensively with senior leaders, Field leadership, Technology, and other enterprise functions to advance strategic priorities, strengthen the advisor experience, and deliver measurable business results.
What You'll Do
- Set the strategy and direction for Agent Collaboration & Partnership: Establish the long-term vision, strategic roadmap, operating model, and priorities for ACP, integrating AMP, DA, Agent Teaming, and Professional Alliance to strengthen agent collaboration, development, practice growth, and succession planning.
- Lead the ACP organization and governance model: Provide leadership across Program Operations, Field Operations, Marketing & Communications, and supporting business resources; establish program standards, decision-making frameworks, resource priorities, performance expectations, and governance that enable consistent execution and future growth.
- Shape the field and advisor experience: Partner with Field leadership to identify evolving business needs, expand collaboration opportunities, and continuously improve the experience across ACP programs, including experiences supporting high-performing advisor segments such as Nautilus members.
- Drive enterprise partnership and transformation: Partner with Technology, Marketing, Compensation, Legal, Compliance, Training, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions supporting ACP. Sponsor Collaboration Central and future technology enhancements while advancing digital and operational transformation across enrollment, onboarding, and program processes.
- Own performance, insights, and executive engagement: Establish success measures and key performance indicators for ACP; use insights on adoption, participation, productivity, and operational performance to guide strategic decisions; and communicate results, recommendations, and change initiatives to senior and Field leadership.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, insurance, distribution, field operations, enterprise program leadership, or a related area.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and lead large-scale programs, business transformation initiatives, and complex operating models with significant cross-functional impact.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and developing high-performing teams, establishing priorities, allocating resources, and creating accountability for business outcomes.
- Strong business and operational acumen, including experience establishing governance structures, performance measures, and decision-making frameworks and using data and insights to guide priorities and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build alignment with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders across business, Field, and enterprise functions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and change leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear strategies and mobilize stakeholders around organizational priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree or advanced education in business, finance, organizational leadership, or a related discipline.
- Experience within an Agency, advisor, or field-based financial services distribution model, including knowledge of advisor development, teaming, practice management, or succession planning.
- Experience leading technology-enabled business transformation, including digital platforms, process modernization, or large-scale operational change.
- Experience partnering across functions such as Technology, Marketing, Compensation, Legal, Compliance, and Training to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $160,000-$228,500
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
