The Corporate Strategy team is part of Global Strategy at Wolters Kluwer, based between London and New York, and comprised of senior ex-MBB consultants and MBAs from top-tier institutions.
Role Overview:
During your 10-week internship, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that significantly impact WK's business along with a team of former senior MBB consultants, tackling real business problems. It's a great opportunity to learn about life at a Corporate Strategy Office of a global corporation, and to engage and build relationships with colleagues, leaders, and industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support live Corporate Strategy projects including conducting market research, modelling, and preparation of strategic deliverables
- Design playbooks for Corporate Strategy team and beyond
- Develop business models, financial projections, strategic recommendations and strategic tools (including AI-focused) to support key initiatives
- Engage with cross-functional teams and contribute to broader team initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in an MBA Programme at a top-tier business school
- Must have UK right to work or be enrolled in a UK business school
- 2+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with market research, data modelling and business case development.
- Interest in and familiarity with AI, including its applications in business strategy and operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred qualifications:
- Preferred candidates are strategy consultants currently enrolled in an MBA program and looking to explore what life in industry feels like at a global corporate strategy office
- Candidates must still be enrolled in the MBA Programme during the internship
Please note:
This is a standalone MBA summer internship designed as a learning opportunity within the Global Strategy team. There is no planned conversion to a full-time role at the end of the internship.
