Your Impact
The Copywriter will be responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading high-quality content for various marketing channels. The Copywriter creates world-class copy that is in the Lowe's brand voice with a demonstrated flexibility to write broad brand messages as well as promotional copy.
What You Will Do
- Develops and writes clear, persuasive, and original content for digital, audio, print media, including social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Collaborates with designers and other marketing teams to understand the project objectives, target audiences, and ensuring content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
- Edits and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Conducts research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform content creation.
- Optimize content for SEO and other digital marketing best practices.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and content strategies. Presents work to creative directors as part of daily creative review.
- Maintains a consistent brand voice across all content and communication channels.
- Utilizes Microsoft programs, Workfront, and Figma to make edits, proofread, and for job workload management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree English or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 3 Years experience in advertising/marketing as a Copy Editor or Proofreader
- Demonstrated detail-orientation with a bias to accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including an expert of knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling and punctuation
