The Content Management Analyst supports the acquisition, processing, enrichment, and quality assurance of primary source legal content across digital products. This role plays a key operational function in scanning services, court relationship management, vendor oversight, and technical troubleshooting across the end-to-end content pipeline.
The analyst develops a strong understanding of content enrichment, metadata, and markup, enabling effective diagnosis and resolution of production and data issues. This position partners with internal stakeholders and vendors to monitor production loads, audit automated web scraping pipelines, and continuously improve content acquisition and delivery processes.
This role also requires building familiarity with customer-facing products to understand how content is used and ensure quality and usability standards are met.
* This role would require someone to go to the Riverwoods office five days a week through the rest of the year, then transition to 1-2 days a week in Chicago office starting in 2027.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage scanning services, ensuring accurate ingestion of physical and digital source materials
Acquire primary source legal content including petitions, motions, briefs, and related case law documents
Research and fulfill editorial content requests, identifying authoritative sources and resolving content gaps
Establish and maintain relationships with courts, agencies, and official content providers
Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with SLAs for timeliness, quality, and completeness
Troubleshoot production load issues including failed ingestion, missing content, and content defects
Audit automated acquisition processes including web scraping workflows to validate completeness and accuracy
Perform QA on content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with metadata standards
Develop and apply knowledge of content enrichment processes, metadata structures, and markup (XML/HTML) to support troubleshooting
Develop a working understanding of the end-to-end content pipeline, including acquisition, transformation, enrichment, publishing, and syndication
Support outbound syndication processes and understand how content supports downstream revenue opportunities and third-party delivery
Use knowledge of systems and workflows to identify root causes of content or production issues and recommend solutions
Engage with customer-facing products (e.g., VitalLaw, MediRegs) to understand how content is displayed and used by customers
Coordinate project tasks and timelines to ensure deadlines are met

Compensation:
$53,700.00 - $91,950.00 USDCompensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
