Purpose of the Role
The role drives the markets' comms strategy and media activation to design brand experiences, maximizing connection, creativity and effectiveness / efficiency across our portfolio of brands. SEA is fast growing unit in MDLZ with the complexity of having several markets working together to grow the business. Thus, it is critical that there is a is consistency in strategic planning approach and timely sharing of learnings across all markets.
How you will contribute
- Implement media E2E strategy (planning, activation, evaluation and optimization) partnering closely with brand teams, agencies and partners
- Ensure consumer experience journeys are grounded in culture & integrate latest CX trends
- Develop holistic working media investment strategies and integration across paid, owned, earned media:
- Drive both effectiveness & efficiency of the campaigns to optimize ROI
- Leverage data, AI and analytics to continuously optimize targeting, creative relevance and channel mix
- Allocating and prioritizing across for optimization and ROI
- Drive measurement framework, KPI identification and tracking
- Manage total media budget and related efforts (all media planning and buying regardless of channel). Lead day to day work, taking charge of developing budgeting exercises, strategic planning approach, buying optimization and implementation of media campaigns across several brands within the markets
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure full support in executing the strategy.
- Be the subject matter expert on all mediums and have the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
- Stay ahead of the curve on Digital & Data best practices and elevate digital marketing capability of the Mondelēz category teams. Drive the organization's ambition on leveraging first-party data
- Manage agency relationship with rigor & collaboration, ensuring consistent application of MDLZ Media principles & WOW standards.
What you will bring

- 8-10 years of media expertise, preferably in a role encompassing strategy around driving penetration or growth.
- Digital expertise with the ability to leverage the ever-evolving digital media landscape for achieving business and brand building objectives.
- Strong operational skills incorporating understanding of industry, category and customer landscape, channel planning and value creation.
- Sound knowledge of media analytics and working knowledge of business analytics and portfolio management on large CPG businesses.
- Negotiation and collaboration skills that encourage multi-stakeholder projects to thrive.
- Experience of working with agency & media partners, multiple local, regional & global stakeholders. Ability to manage expectations of a large and diverse marketing team.
- Be in tune with latest media and content trends to pioneer industry-first interventions.
- Strong focus on process and mechanisms including planning, buying and agency performance review with actionable insights to drive sustained improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a bias towards proactivity.
- Can successfully deliver in a complex matrixed organization. Test-and-learn mentality; ability to take learnings and scale broadly.
- Experience handling media on the client's side will be an advantage.
