Summary:
In this role, you will support academic medical centers and healthcare systems across the country by coordinating consulting engagements that identify opportunities for indirect spend cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional client and internal teams, apply project management methodologies to drive engagement success, monitor project performance, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality consulting services that help clients achieve their strategic and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Maintain internal and external project trackers, including project metrics, timelines, and financial data.
Develop presentations using quantitative, qualitative, and other relevant data to communicate project progress, findings, and future expectations to audiences at all levels of an organization.
Support consulting engagements through research, presentation development, meeting preparation, status reporting, issue tracking, and project budget updates.
Coordinate communication with sales, advisory leads, project teams, and clients to support engagement execution and timely project delivery.
Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and action items to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support client recommendations and operational improvements.
Organize project documentation and maintain accurate records throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and client stakeholders to facilitate project activities and achieve engagement objectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
2 or more years of relevant experience required.
Understanding of healthcare operations, supply chain, and indirect spend management preferred.
Experience supporting consulting or project management engagements preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with Kantata (formerly Mavenlink) preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels of an organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
