The Compliance Business Technical Specialist supports Legal and Compliance operations by evaluating business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, and third-party vendors to design, implement, and support technical and process solutions that align with organizational objectives.

The position is responsible for leading and supporting business transformation initiatives, managing projects from planning through implementation, and ensuring changes are effectively integrated into day-to-day operations. The Compliance Business Technical Specialist serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, supporting system enhancements, resolving operational challenges, and driving process optimization efforts.

Additionally, this role provides system administration and production support, develops reporting and analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making, and leverages emerging technologies, including automation and artificial intelligence tools, to enhance operational effectiveness. The position ensures that established methodologies, governance standards, and change management practices are consistently applied to deliver sustainable business value and operational excellence.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
  • Lead and support Legal and Compliance improvement initiatives by developing project plans, managing timelines, coordinating resources, monitoring risks, and ensuring successful execution of project objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, IT, and external vendors to gather business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Legal and Compliance systems, ensuring system stability, scalability, data integrity, and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate future-state design sessions, and implement process enhancements utilizing continuous improvement methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate system testing activities, including configuration validation and user acceptance testing (UAT), while developing training materials and supporting user adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve system and workflow issues in production and testing environments, providing technical support and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and measure operational performance through meaningful metrics and KPIs.

What are the requirements needed for this position?
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, Business Process Engineering, Business Analysis, Systems Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal business environments.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional needs, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL, and the ability to create reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise business systems and operational workflows.
  • Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
  • Experience applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience using Power BI, DAX, M, Python, or similar analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience working in Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, or other highly regulated business environments.
  • Experience with automation technologies, workflow management platforms, and artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience serving as a liaison between business and technical teams to deliver technology-enabled business solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or related certifications.
