The Branding & Communications Manager plays a key role in shaping how Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (TAA) communicates with employees, customers, partners, and the market. Reporting to the leader of Branding & Communications for TAA, this position develops and executes communication strategies that strengthen our brands, support business priorities, and elevate thought leadership.
Serving as a trusted communications partner to senior business leaders, this role helps shape messaging around innovation, customer success, business transformation, and industry trends. Working closely with product marketing, HR, external communications, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will translate complex topics into clear, compelling stories across internal and external channels.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Storytelling
Develop and execute communication strategies that support business priorities, strengthen brand reputation, and drive engagement across internal and external audiences.
Translate complex business, technology, and market topics into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with key stakeholders.
Ensure consistent messaging across channels, audiences, and initiatives.
Executive & Thought Leadership Communications
Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop presentations, articles, speaking materials, social content, and other thought leadership assets.
Help elevate executive visibility and position leaders as trusted voices in the profession.
Identify opportunities to amplify customer success stories, industry insights, and innovation initiatives.
Internal Communications & Change Management
Develop communications that support employee engagement, organizational change, business transformation initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver clear, timely, and effective communications that help employees understand priorities and navigate change.
Brand Stewardship
Ensure communications align with Wolters Kluwer and CCH brand standards, messaging frameworks, and strategic positioning.
Collaborate with global branding and communications teams to maintain consistency while supporting regional business needs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Work closely with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, External Communications, HR, and business leaders to deliver integrated communications programs.
Support key business initiatives, product launches, events, customer programs, and executive engagements.
Communications Innovation & Emerging Technologies
Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve communications effectiveness, workflow efficiency, and content development.
Stay current on evolving communications, search, and content consumption trends and identify opportunities to apply new approaches across the function.
Develop content and messaging that is clear, credible, and structured for both human audiences and AI-powered discovery experiences.
Partner with Digital, Marketing, and Content teams to help ensure important business narratives, thought leadership, and proof points are easily understood, surfaced, and referenced across evolving search and AI environments.
Bring forward new ideas, tools, and best practices that help the organization communicate more effectively in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Measurement & Insights
Monitor communications performance and market trends to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
Track key metrics related to engagement, message effectiveness, thought leadership visibility, and brand reputation.
Use insights and data to continuously refine communications approaches and recommendations.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, brand communications, public relations, or a related field.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of formats and audiences.
Experience developing executive communications, thought leadership content, and strategic messaging.
Demonstrated ability to manage communications initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
Experience partnering effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience within technology, software, professional services, or information services industries preferred.
Familiarity with tax, accounting, audit, legal, or financial services industries is a plus.
Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and experience using generative AI tools to enhance communications planning, content creation, and workflow efficiency.
Understanding of how content is discovered, interpreted, and amplified across both traditional digital channels and emerging AI-powered experiences.

Compensation:
$98,500.00 - $172,700.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
