Purpose of Role: As a Comminution Application Sales Engineer, you’ll deliver innovative crushing, screening, and grinding solutions that boost efficiency and sustainability in mining. This role combines technical problem-solving with global client engagement, making every project impactful and rewarding. You’ll play a key role in expanding Weir’s presence in the Kazakh market, where face-to-face client interaction is essential.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Drive sales growth through strategic account management, lead generation, and relationship building with clients.

• Prepare and present technical proposals, including equipment specifications, performance estimates, and cost-benefit analyses.

• Provide expert guidance on comminution equipment (e.g., crushers, screens) to clients and internal sales teams.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful equipment integration and commissioning.

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

     
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

• 4+ years of experience in Comminution or a similar background.

• Degree in Mining, Mineral Processing Engineering.

• Passionate about visiting mining sites and industrial facilities, including navigating large plants and uneven terrain.

• Strong understanding of crushing and screening technologies and market dynamics.
