This Regional Commercial Development Manager, Revenue Management role sits within the China Market Group Regional Commercial Development team in Shanghai, and you’ll translate global revenue management standards into local commercial rules that balance brand growth and financial guardrails.

The Regional Commercial Development team sits under China Market Group leadership, tasked with linking global commercial guidance to on-the-ground local execution across pricing, channel rules and revenue governance. You’ll own the core revenue management transformation agenda for China, building consistent pricing and trade investment guardrails that align cross-functional colleagues around shared, sustainable growth targets. Every framework you build lets sales, finance and legal teams operate with clear, unified playbooks as consumer markets evolve quickly.

Core Responsibilities

As a member of Regional Commercial Development Team, the role contributes to the team's mandate in shaping the commercial agenda and enabling sustainable growth in China across commercial domain - This role will specifically lead China MG's Revenue Management agenda, translating global RM&P principles and local business needs into a compliant, executable commercial framework Specially:

  • Lead Trade-term optimization and deployment, including term structure review, conditionality governance and customer-level implementation guardrails.
  • Own Multi-Channel Pricing deployment in China, including frontline enablement, customer communication support, fulfilment monitoring and ongoing refresh governance.
  • Govern CTT conditionality, including KPI thresholds, payout logic, proof-for-performance, and host regular review.
  • Lead Trade Investment productivity and compliance, including caps management, approval discipline, audit observations, Sales Training reinforcement and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal and Global team to ensure relevant initiatives are commercially effective, consistently implemented and legally safe.
  • Represent China MG in global / regional RM&P forums, sharing market learnings and translating global direction into China execution.
  • Own customer segmentation and promotion guideline governance to set foundation for commercial planning and execution.
  • Other tasks and roles assigned by leader.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor´s degree in economics/business administration would be preferred
  • 5-8+ years of work experience, preferably from leading consumer goods/retail/lifestyle companies
  • Experience in key account management, sales operations, or business analyst functions. An alternative and relevant career path could be consulting background.
  • Proven track record of managing a broad range of stakeholders across different levels of seniority and departments.
  • Strong experience in collaborating with global teams.
  • Track record of orchestrating change management processes. Experience with agile working principles is a plus.
  • Project management: Experience in sprint project and agile ways of working
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functions and regions, driving alignment and collaboration in a matrix organization.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset, complemented by effective stakeholder and project management skills.
  • Presentation skills: Being able to deliver compelling storytelling and captivating your target audience.
  • Strong ownership, driven, proactive and open to new ideas and challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
