Commercial Controls Analyst (f/m/x)

As a Commercial Controls Analyst, you will act as the subject matter expert for P2P commercial controls, partnering closely with Finance Controllership to elevate commercial compliance and ensure audit readiness. In this role, you will drive the global development and implementation of future-state controls aligned with ICE standards, collaborating with commercial and finance stakeholders to establish best-in-class processes, tools, and guidelines.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Responsible for the operational execution of compliance controls across all Mars Corporate Services (MCS) covered company codes and segments (Petcare Nutrition, Mars Wrigley, Food, Retail, and Mars Global Services).
- Execute predefined BAU internal controls efficiently, document results, and prepare evidence to support internal and external audits.
- Monitor and ensure that MCS operations comply with established Procure-to-Pay (P2P) policies.
- Resolve critical gaps identified during control testing by communicating with user associates to obtain missing documentation required for a successful audit.
- Update and maintain Desktop Procedures (DTPs) in collaboration with the Controllership team to ensure all documentation is current and accurate.
- Ensure governance standards and procedures are accessible and understood by relevant staff.
- Identify and help evaluate operational risks based on the results of control testing.
- Proactively help to identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen the existing control environment.
- Prepare reports on control performance and compliance for management.
- Support data governance initiatives by helping to ensure data is handled accurately and securely according to established policies during control execution.

- Excellent English language skills (written & verbal).

- Very good understanding of procurement P2P policies & processes.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a complex global environment.
- Ability to work in detail while keeping a high-level perspective.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
