Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Technical Leadership:
Directly involved in configuring, deploying, and supporting hybrid infrastructure components.
Act as the technical escalation point for cloud, network, and infrastructure issues.
Design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments.
Take ownership of platforms including Azure AD, Office 365, VPN, Intune, VMware, and Fortinet firewalls.
Cloud & Office 365 Management:
Manage cloud services across Azure and AWS, ensuring high availability, cost optimization, and performance.
Oversee and administer Microsoft 365 services, including:
Exchange Online
SharePoint Online
OneDrive for Business
Teams
Entra ID (Azure AD)
Defender for Office 365
Compliance Center / Purview
Intune Endpoint Management
Manage licensing, permissions, security policies, and collaboration features across the Microsoft 365 environment.
Maintain hybrid identity setups and secure integration with on-prem infrastructure.
Infrastructure & Patch Management:
Maintain on-prem virtual infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V) and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
Lead planning and execution of patch management and system updates across all environments using tools like Intune, WSUS, or SCCM.
Security & Networking:
Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, Forti Switches, Forti APs, and VPNs across sites.
Maintain Cisco switching, SD-WAN, and secure network designs.
Work with the security team on endpoint protection, Microsoft Defender, and Office 365 security controls.
Automation & DevOps:
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and PowerShell scripting.
Apply GitOps practices for infrastructure management and deployments.
Monitoring & Incident Response:
Set up and maintain monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, PRTG, and SCOM.
Lead infrastructure incident response and RCA investigations.
Monitor Office 365 health, alerts, and service adoption.
Team Leadership:
Provide technical mentorship to infrastructure/cloud engineers.
Balance operational work with project delivery and strategic planning.
Ensure strong collaboration across IT support, security, and software teams.
Vendor & Budget Oversight:
Manage licensing, vendor SLAs, and procurement related to infrastructure and cloud services.
Track and optimize spend across Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
7+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud roles, with 2–3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
Strong hands-on expertise in Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and on-prem systems.
Deep understanding of patching, system updates, and hardening.
Experience managing and securing Office 365 services in a medium-to-large enterprise.
Strong scripting and automation background.
Relevant certifications are a strong plus (Azure, AWS, M365, VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, ITIL, PMP).
