Job Summary
The Clinical Solutions Consultant serves as a clinical expert for Wolters Kluwer Health’s portfolio in EMEA. The role primarily supports the UK and META markets, with occasional cross‑regional collaboration. The candidate provides deep clinical, technical, and workflow expertise to commercial teams and customers, ensuring successful adoption and growth of the UpToDate and Medi-Span Suites of Clinical Decision Support (CDS) solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical experience and familiarity with clinical decision support (CDS) tools and healthcare informatics.
Responsibilities:
Presales Support
Provide clinical expertise during the sales cycle, including client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and discovery discussions.
Deliver clinically relevant product positioning aligned to patient safety, evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
Be a trusted advisor to key clinical and administrative stakeholders (e.g., CMOs, nursing leaders, pharmacists, clinical educators) to support account growth.
Product Expertise & Thought Leadership
Serve as a subject‑matter expert on the UpToDate Suite and Medi-Span
Represent Wolters Kluwer at regional conferences, customer events, workshops, and professional meetings.
Stay up to date with competitive CDS tools, healthcare IT trends, and regional clinical practice standards.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, content, and marketing teams to relay customer insights, workflow requirements, and market needs in the UK and the Middle East.
Support awareness and early-stage customer engagement for product localization efforts and emerging solutions such as UpToDate Expert AI.
Job Qualifications:
Education
Professional degree in a clinical field such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or equivalent.
Active licensure (e.g., registered nurse, registered pharmacist) is highly preferred.
Clinical & Professional Experience
Minimum 4–8 years of frontline clinical practice, ideally in a general hospital or academic medical center, with experience or exposure to medication informatics
Experience using CDS systems (like UpToDate), or medication/clinical information platforms strongly preferred.
Prior experience in a health‑tech, CDS, EMR, Medical Affairs or AI‑health company is an advantage.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English for business and clinical communication.
Technical & Professional Skills
Excellent presentation, communication (verbal and written), and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate clinical needs into product and value‑based discussions.
Self‑starter with high accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
