About the Position

As a Clinic Sales Manager for Home Delivery, you'll own the process of turning interested independent veterinary clinics into active, growing users of Vetcove's home delivery pharmacy platform, and you'll know how to move a pipeline with urgency and conviction.

You'll think in systems, not just conversations – building campaigns, assets, and follow-up sequences that drive consistent clinic acquisition at scale, while also showing up sharp in every individual demo and closing call.

What You Will Do

  • Run product demos and sales meetings for independent clinics that have been registered by our SDR team, converting qualified leads into active HD users

  • Serve as a credible platform expert in every demo and sales conversation, able to address technical questions and articulate value against alternatives

  • Manage a pipeline of warm leads through qualification, demo, follow-up, and close, maintaining clear stage hygiene and next-step ownership throughout

  • Execute a clean handoff to the onboarding team at close, ensuring new clinics have the context and support they need to get up and running quickly

  • Partner closely with the SDR team to give feedback on lead quality, refine targeting criteria, and improve handoff protocols

  • Design and run multi-channel acquisition campaigns – including email sequences, targeted promotions, and seasonal pushes – to drive demo registrations and clinic sign-ups

  • Build and maintain a library of sales assets: slide decks, one-pagers, objection-handling guides, and ROI calculators tailored to independent clinic decision-makers

  • Represent Vetcove at veterinary industry events and trade shows to build relationships, generate leads, and advance pipeline

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM across all active opportunities

  • Track and report on key sales metrics: demo-to-close rate, average sales cycle, pipeline velocity, and campaign-driven conversion

  • Prepare regular pipeline reviews with data-driven insights for internal stakeholders, flagging blockers and emerging patterns

You Should Have

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3–5 years of experience in a closing sales role, ideally in SaaS or a technology company selling to SMBs or independent operators

  • A track record of owning a full sales cycle from demo through close with measurable conversion outcomes

  • Strong demo and presentation skills: you can read a room, handle objections live, and leave a prospect with a clear reason to say yes

  • Comfortable selling in a competitive environment: you know how to position against alternatives and win on value, not just price

  • Experience building or contributing to sales campaigns, email sequences, or outbound programs, not just executing plays someone else designed

  • Comfortable in CRM tools: you keep your pipeline clean and your notes current

  • A natural communicator who can adapt from a persuasive group demo to a thoughtful 1:1 follow-up email without losing their voice

  • Highly organized with the discipline to manage a high-volume pipeline without letting anything fall through the cracks

  • Comfortable shifting between campaign-level thinking and individual clinic conversations when the situation calls for it

  • Experience in the veterinary space a strong plus but not required

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, or similar CRM tools

  • Experience with email automation tools and sales engagement platforms

  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment

What We Do

Vetcove is a Y Combinator and venture-backed growth stage company with notable investors in Silicon Valley and NYC. Our mission is to provide veterinary hospitals and nonprofits with technology that helps them succeed through our eCommerce and mobile platforms. Our community includes more than 17,000 veterinary hospitals and nonprofits whose staff collectively deliver care to tens of millions of animals every year across all 50 states. Simply put, Vetcove helps personnel at veterinary organizations spend more time helping patients, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. We're completely revolutionizing the way veterinarians discover and buy products, and how animal health brands engage their veterinary customers. We believe that the work veterinarians and their staff do, caring for America’s pets, is an essential and noble calling. We strive to be a catalyst for change in this $50B+ industry by placing veterinary professionals at the center of everything we do, and enabling them with powerful technology and delightful user experiences that help them do their jobs better. Our Vetcove team has a passion for disruption, because we know that what we do matters. Everything we do, we do as a team. Together, we create paths to success by going above-and-beyond for our users, and finding new ways to evolve our technology by redefining the boundaries of what others believe is possible. We champion transparency–both internally and externally–because we so highly value the trust our partners place in us, as well as the trust Vetcove team members place in each other. We disrupt with humility–and are enjoying the journey of growing our impact, rather than focusing solely on the destination. We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our quickly growing team.
