Chief of Staff responsible for building and leading internal operations, improving company systems and processes, representing leadership, driving cross-functional initiatives, managing a small operations team, strengthening employee experience, and improving internal communications. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, initiative, organizational ability, communication skills, and experience operating effectively in a demanding, growing organization.

Own enterprise business development for Vetcove’s veterinary software platforms, building executive relationships, expanding customer adoption, and closing complex B2B agreements. Lead discovery, RFPs, evaluations, negotiations, forecasting, and pipeline management while partnering with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success. Translate customer needs into product insights, manage relationship risks, and help develop scalable enterprise sales processes. The role is remote within the United States with regular customer and industry travel.

Own fulfillment vendor performance, partner relationships, SLA accountability, and operational review cadences. Analyze large datasets using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to identify root causes and quantify impact. Translate operational issues into product and engineering requirements, operationalize new initiatives, maintain SOPs and escalation paths, and manage KPIs. The role is fully remote and requires strong follow-through, organization, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
