We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCH Tagetik Principal Consultant / Solution Architect to lead the technical and functional design of complex Tagetik implementations across a range of clients or business units. This role is pivotal in aligning finance transformation goals with scalable, future-proof Tagetik solutions. You will bring deep expertise in CPM processes and Tagetik capabilities to guide clients through best-practice configurations, integrations, and rollouts of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead architect and subject matter expert on CCH Tagetik implementations, including solution design, technical architecture, and configuration oversight.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust Tagetik solutions covering planning, consolidation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead design workshops with finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Define target architecture, system design, data model, and integration strategy for the Tagetik platform.
- Create and maintain solution blueprints, technical documentation, and implementation standards.
- Oversee system configuration, automation (e.g., workflows, calculations), and development of reports/dashboards using SmartInsight and other Tagetik modules.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to align technical delivery with timelines and resource planning.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to consultants and developers.
- Support business development activities including pre-sales solutioning, scoping, and proposal development.
Requirements:
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience with CCH Tagetik, including multiple full-cycle implementations.
- Expertise in core Tagetik modules: Consolidation, Budgeting & Planning, Financial Close, Disclosure Management, and Reporting.
- Strong technical understanding of Tagetik architecture, data modelling, business rules, and integration.
- Proven ability to lead solution design and delivery across multi-entity, multinational environments.
- Deep knowledge of finance and accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Desirable:
- CCH Tagetik certification (Champion).
- Background in finance or accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience with Tagetik’s Analytical Information Hub, ESG & Sustainability solutions, or IFRS 16 modules.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and protocols (e.g., SQL, ETL, REST APIs).
- Experience working in a consulting, advisory, or systems integrator environment.
