Category Manager (Procurement Transformation Lead)
Join a procurement transformation initiative within Teledyne, part of Teledyne Technologies, serving advanced technology and manufacturing markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how procurement operates across multiple sites and regions while helping implement modern digital procurement processes and tools.
Working closely with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Operations teams, you will lead the adoption and optimization of the Ivalua procurement platform and support integration with SAP S/4HANA. This is an individual contributor role with significant influence across the organisation, focused on driving procurement excellence, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement.
 What you’ll do
  • Lead the business implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Ivalua procurement platform.
  • Support integration activities between Ivalua, SAP S/4HANA, and related enterprise systems.
  • Standardise procurement processes, workflows, approvals, and governance across multiple sites.
  • Improve supplier onboarding, sourcing, contract management, and purchasing activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual procurement processes.
  • Develop reporting and analytics that improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT, and Manufacturing teams to drive adoption and change.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives across North America and Europe.
  • Champion best practices and continuous process improvement.

  • Required: Strong analytical, project management, and change management capabilities.
  • Required: Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions and locations.
  • Required: Experience participating in or leading SAP S/4HANA and/or Ivalua implementations.
  • Required: Experience with procurement processes, master data, and system workflows.
  • Required: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Source-to-Pay (S2P) experience with indirect category management responsibility.
  • Advantage: Experience integrating Ivalua with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Required: Self-motivated, accountable, and adaptable in evolving business environments.
  • Required: Degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range:

$83,600.00-$111,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
