The Jurisdiction & Classification Manager will oversee JC program operations, confirm classifications, and provide guidance within Teledyne FLIR Defense, supporting regulatory compliance and strategic decisions in product development.

Supervise production staff manufacturing complex robotic and integrated mission systems in a low-volume, high-mix environment. Direct daily production activities, manage safety, cost, delivery, quality, staffing, performance evaluations, and attendance. Partner with Engineering to resolve production and quality issues, implement policies and Lean improvements, track KPIs, and develop employees. The role requires hands-on line supervision, administrative management, technical problem-solving, and occasional travel.

Supports technical and commercial sales across Latin America through product demonstrations, customer presentations, technical inquiries, opportunity qualification, CRM maintenance, forecasting, reporting, channel partner enablement, and cross-functional coordination. The role supports customers from initial engagement through order fulfillment and post-sale service, with regional travel and exposure to technical solution selling, account development, logistics, finance, and commercial operations.

Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, tax filings, and period-end close. Installs, removes, relocates, aligns, assembles, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and lubricates R&D machinery and equipment. Reads blueprints and schematics, constructs equipment foundations, and fastens machinery to supporting structures. Collaborates periodically with research customers and scientists to support equipment design, testing, and field research. Requires vocational training or related experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of plant and OSHA safety requirements.

Provides financial leadership and program controls for complex aerospace, defense, space, and imaging programs. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, EAC development, profitability and risk analysis, earned value reporting, inventory planning, proposal support, compliance monitoring, and presenting insights to leadership. Partners with program, engineering, manufacturing, contracts, purchasing, and accounting teams to improve financial performance and operational outcomes.

Leads commercial, defense, development, customer-funded, and internal programs from award through delivery and closeout. Coordinates cross-functional teams, customers, schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, quality, contracts, and technical requirements. Oversees program financial performance, customer reporting, executive reviews, issue resolution, production transitions, proposal support, and contractual compliance.

Executes B2B marketing programs for Microwave markets, coordinating product launches, campaigns, webinars, trade shows, and customer-facing content. Partners with sales, business development, product, creative, digital, web, and agency teams. Translates technical concepts into clear messaging, maintains accurate marketing collateral, ensures brand consistency, and develops knowledge of RF, microwave, SATCOM, radar, and electronic warfare markets. Requires 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience and strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Leads procurement transformation across multiple sites and regions by implementing and optimizing Ivalua, supporting SAP S/4HANA integration, standardizing procurement workflows, improving supplier and purchasing processes, automating manual activities, developing analytics, and driving cross-functional adoption and continuous improvement. The role requires procurement process expertise, indirect category management, stakeholder influence, project and change management, and occasional international travel.

Achieve sales targets, manage customer relationships, drive solution delivery, and organize market awareness programs in assigned territories.

Administer, configure, enhance, and optimize Teledyne’s OneStream platform. The role supports financial consolidation, reporting, planning, and close processes; troubleshoots data and reporting issues; develops dashboards, workflows, integrations, and documentation; and partners with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, training, and user adoption initiatives.

Performs production testing, calibration, troubleshooting, assembly, rework, and electrical measurements on dewars, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test equipment, follows engineering specifications, analyzes test data, maintains records and equipment inventories, reports technical findings, and assists Engineering with developing procedures for new products. Requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, ESD awareness, computer skills, microscope use, and the ability to handle very small electronic parts.

Lead localization and industrial participation strategy across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Build senior government, sovereign, industry, academic, and research relationships; establish strategic partnerships; integrate localization into bids and procurement opportunities; structure commercial, governance, and funding models; and oversee technology transfer, applied research, capability development, and production localization programs. Manage opportunity pipelines, cross-functional execution, compliance, localization metrics, and business outcomes while supporting regional growth and sovereign capability development.

Lead the long-term software vision, strategy, and roadmap across machine vision, imaging, AI, machine learning, workflow automation, and 3D products. Influence product managers and align software priorities with hardware, customer, and business objectives. Develop licensing and recurring-revenue strategies, engage customers and partners, evaluate build-or-buy opportunities, and track adoption, revenue, profitability, and satisfaction while ensuring cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance alignment.

Develop and manage master production schedules, workflow plans, manufacturing lead times, and finite capacity plans. Monitor plan-versus-actual performance, report KPIs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with operations, procurement, and inventory teams to resolve material, supply, demand, and capacity constraints while improving scheduling accuracy and operational efficiency.

Manage accounts receivable activities, including customer invoice follow-up, collections, cash-flow forecasting, A/R reporting, journal entries, financial statement preparation, compliance monitoring, error correction, tax reporting, and audit support. Maintain accurate accounting records and provide backup support for other accounting duties.

Manage Western USA sales operations for electronic components serving aerospace, defense, industrial, communications, medical, and test markets. Responsibilities include developing sales budgets, managing manufacturer representatives and distributors, targeting OEM customers, directing field applications efforts, building customer relationships, tracking design wins in CRM, reporting sales activity, contributing to product definition, and analyzing market trends. The role requires approximately 50% travel and collaboration with customers, distribution partners, and internal teams.

Provides strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, facilities, EH&S, and operational excellence. The role drives safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, customer satisfaction, and workforce development objectives. Responsibilities include implementing lean and continuous-improvement strategies, improving equipment reliability, leading engineering and capital projects, managing operational budgets, and developing high-performing leadership teams. The Director reports to the General Manager and supports long-term growth and operational capability.
