As a Category Manager – IT, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT-related spend across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global procurement objectives. Partnering closely with the CIO organization and key business stakeholders, you will drive strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver value, optimize costs, mitigate risks, and support business growth.
In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for managing IT categories, including IT Resellers, Telecom, End User Services (EUS), Mobility, and other regional IT sub-categories. You will lead supplier selection, strategic negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance initiatives while balancing cost, quality, service, and risk considerations.
The successful candidate will leverage market insights, industry knowledge, and strong stakeholder management skills to develop effective sourcing strategies and build trusted partnerships across IT, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
Defining and executing regional IT sourcing strategies in close partnership with the EMEA CIO organization and IT leadership teams,
Acting as a strategic commercial partner to senior IT stakeholders, ensuring sourcing and contracting decisions deliver the right balance of cost efficiency, performance, service quality, and business outcomes.
Building, developing, and sustaining strong, trust-based relationships with key strategic suppliers and partners across the IT ecosystem,
Planning and lead complex, high-impact negotiations across Telecom, End User Services, IT Resellers, Mobility, and Leasing categories across multiple EMEA countries,
Owning and managing Telecom, Voice, and Mobility contracts across the region, while supporting and enabling End User Services (EUS) programs,
Leading regional RFx processes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and commercial engagements across EMEA IT services,
Collaborating effectively with regional and global sourcing teams to ensure alignment, leverage scale, and share best practices.
Partnering closely with Finance, Vendor Management, Compliance, and Legal subject matter experts to structure, negotiate, and execute high-value commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements, Enterprise License Agreements, Master Product Agreements, SOWs, Leasing Agreements, and NDAs.
Staying informed on market, technology, and industry trends impacting IT sourcing decisions and proactively incorporate insights into category strategies.
Significant experience in IT Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, or Commodity/Category Management within a complex, global environment,
Demonstrated experience working across IT, IT sourcing, or IT program management roles with strong commercial accountability.
Strong understanding of sourcing governance, policies, and best practices within a global enterprise environment.
Proven track record of executing complex sourcing initiatives and delivering on commitments.
Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and drive outcomes with senior stakeholders, including experience in change management.
Experience working effectively across international, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed teams.
Hands-on experience managing third-party providers and strategic supplier relationships.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform quantitative and data-driven analysis to support decision-making.
Experience managing budgets, resources, and competing priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage credibly in senior management forums (English required).
Strong project management capability, with experience leading complex, multi-country initiatives in a matrixed environment.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and cross-time-zone collaboration.
Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, minimal supervision needs, and a consistent “can-do” mindset.
Pay Range
For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range: 217,600 - 299,200 PLN
