    About the Position

    In this role, you will...

    • ​Supervise individuals on pretrial release, monitoring compliance with court-ordered conditions, including court appearances, testing requirements, electronic monitoring, curfews, travel restrictions, and no-contact orders.

    • Maintain regular contact with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and remote check-ins to support successful supervision.

    • Connect clients with community resources and support services while collaborating with law enforcement, courts, treatment providers, and other partner agencies.

    • Prepare and process supervision-related documentation, including case notes, reports, release agreements, and revocation requests when needed.

    • Maintain accurate case files and records, ensuring timely data entry and compliance with departmental and legal recordkeeping requirements.

    • Assist with client drug screening, investigation reports, statistical reporting, and other case management activities as assigned.

    • Attend court hearings, provide case information to the court, and testify regarding client compliance when required.

    • Support departmental operations by assisting with staff training, mentoring new employees, and participating in special projects or assignments as needed.

    About the Schedule

    Work Hours:

    • Full-time, 40 hours per week.

    • Must be available 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday - Saturday.

    • May be required to work weekends and holidays.

    • Your schedule would be shift work for a 24/7 operation.

    As a reminder, all county employees are considered essential and must be prepared to protect and support the community and its citizens. Each employee, without exception, will have a duty assignment and be required to work during a disaster or declared emergency.

    About You

    To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

    • OR: Progressively responsible related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college degree.

    • Must obtain certification by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) as a Florida Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center (FCIC/NCIC) operator within six (6) months of appointment.

    • Valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.

    • Maintain accurate case records and prepare clear, concise reports, documentation, and correspondence.

    • Communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, courts, partner agencies, and team members.

    • Build positive working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds while handling sensitive or challenging situations with professionalism.

    • Stay organized, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and respond appropriately in fast-paced, emergency, or crisis situations while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

    Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of 5 years.

    Physical Demands: Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.

    CJIS Clearance: The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as part of the hiring process.

    Skills Required

    • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or related field OR progressively responsible related experience substituted year-for-year
