Lead and manage the county Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources system, overseeing parks and lands, capital planning, budgeting, staff supervision, partnerships, revenue generation, compliance, audits, and strategic initiatives to enhance community health, economic and environmental sustainability.

Operate and maintain mowing and landscape equipment to perform athletic field and park maintenance across county parks. Duties include mowing, trimming, mulching, planting, litter removal, small-engine maintenance, equipment transport, and routine safety checks.

Lead and supervise Business Operations staff for Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources; coordinate budget development and financial monitoring; manage procurement, contracts, and compliance; oversee business systems (reservations, registration, reporting); drive process improvements, continuity planning, audits, and strategic projects with internal and community stakeholders.

Lead wastewater operations and infrastructure, oversee treatment facilities, collection and reclaimed water systems, and station operations. Manage division managers, budgets, regulatory compliance, audits, public outreach, emergency response, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable utility service.

Provide clerical and administrative support to Court Administration, coordinate courtroom schedules and facility needs, liaise with Clerk, Sheriff's Office and partners, manage background-checked application processes, and support special projects and South County backup operations.

Lead business operations for Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources including budget and financial management, procurement and contract oversight, reservations and campground operations, volunteer program management, process and system improvements, community partnerships, and reporting. Direct staff, oversee major contracts and revenue-generating concessions, develop policy and fraud prevention controls, and support strategic planning and departmental goals.

Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance, repair, and inspection of wastewater collection, lift stations, STEP/low-pressure and vacuum sewer systems. Lead staff scheduling, training, contractor oversight, procurement, work-order processing, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable utility operations. On-call required.

Participate in a four-year rotational engineering development program supporting capital projects, stormwater, transportation, public utilities, and planning. Perform design tasks, plan reviews, field inspections, technical reports, specifications, coordination with stakeholders, and present findings while pursuing EI/PE licensure under mentorship.

Support daily operations of Snook Haven Campground and Regional Park including visitor safety, resource protection, customer service, reservations and POS processing, staff and volunteer supervision, facility maintenance, event/program delivery, procurement, reporting, and enforcement of county rules and regulations.
