Job Description

To serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Information Technology, driving execution of the Technology strategy, executive governance, performance management and stakeholder alignment. The role ensures that leadership decisions translate into measurable client, business, financial and risk outcomes. To provide support to the Head, Information Technology, responsible for:

  • Management of ad-hoc and strategic meetings.
  • Responsible for IT Board and EXCO submissions.
  • Committee secretarial duties.
  • Financial management and MIS reporting in conjunction with the Technology Business Control.
  • Collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as Stanbic IBTC business partners and Standard Bank (“SBG”) matrices.
  • Translate Technology priorities into clear plans, milestones, owners and measurable outcomes.
  • Track strategic initiatives, dependencies, risks and benefits.
  • Coordinate Technology leadership, EXCO and Board governance activities.
  • Prepare concise, high-quality Board papers, presentations and executive briefings.
  • Build strong relationships across Stanbic IBTC businesses, corporate functions and Standard Bank Group.
  • Coordinate cross-functional priorities and resolve issues affecting delivery.

Qualifications

  • BSc in IT and Computer Sciences, Business Management, Economics/English Communications or related field.
  • Professional certification such as ITIL, PMP can be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 4years Relevant experience in strategy interpretation, business management, finance, executive-office management.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, technology or another regulated environment is preferred.
  • Strong executive reporting, analytical and stakeholder-management capability.
