About the role
As a Business Development & Strategy Analyst, you will be part of the Strategy & Strategic Program Management team for the Benelux region. You will support the organization in making data-driven strategic decisions and translate complex insights into clear recommendations for senior management.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, pricing, business, and finance. You will support the leadership team, the pricing function, and international stakeholders with analyses and recommendations that guide commercial, product, pricing, and investment decisions.
You will be based in Belgium (Mechelen) or the Netherlands (Alphen aan den Rijn or Deventer), combined with flexible remote working opportunities.
What Will You Do?
Strategic Analysis & Insights
Analyze markets, competitors, customers, and portfolios to support strategic decision-making.
Build business case models to evaluate scenarios and growth opportunities.
Translate complex business questions into hypotheses, analyses, and actionable recommendations.
Develop insights, decision-making materials, and presentations for senior leadership.
Pricing & Business Modeling
Support the development and optimization of pricing strategies, pricing models, and product packaging.
Analyze customer behavior, usage data, price realization, and commercial performance to support pricing decisions.
Conduct scenario analyses related to price adjustments, new business models, and commercial initiatives.
Support pricing research, market analyses, and competitive benchmarking.
Develop dashboards and management reports on pricing performance and commercial KPIs.
Translate analytical insights into concrete recommendations for revenue growth, margin improvement, and value creation.
Strategy Definition & Execution
Contribute to the development of the local LR Benelux strategy and provide input to the divisional strategy.
Translate strategic choices into tangible roadmaps and projects.
Support and coordinate strategic initiatives across multiple departments.
Bring together stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance and ensure alignment.
Contribute to the annual strategic planning and budgeting cycle.
Business Development & Growth
Identify new opportunities, such as new propositions, partnerships, or acquisitions.
Support initiatives related to market positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution.
Analyze customer segments, competitors, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
International Context (Benelux)
Work in a Benelux environment with strong international exposure.
Translate global strategy into local opportunities and vice versa.
Collaborate with international teams on strategy, pricing, and business model development.
Who Are You?
You have a Master's degree.
You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, pricing, consulting, corporate finance, or commercial analysis.
You possess strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and business case development.
You have an affinity for pricing, business models, and commercial strategy; experience in these areas is a plus.
You are comfortable analyzing complex datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
You have strong stakeholder management skills and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
You can independently structure and solve complex problems.
You communicate clearly and persuasively at management level.
You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
