Our client is a leading technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
  • Promote the company as a leading rail competence provider in the region.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the local customer base, competitor landscape, and potential partner network.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking, proactive industry monitoring, and market research.
  • Identify and follow up on relevant public and private tenders from the early stages, then forward them to the company’s head office for assessment.
  • Provide local insights and input to support tender preparation by the company’s head office when required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local rail customers, while understanding their needs, requirements, and constraints.
  • Search for and identify suitable rail partners for the company, initiate first contact, and prepare partner profile dossiers for assessment by the company’s head office.
  • Schedule and prepare meetings and presentations for the company’s global rail experts with potential customers and partners.
  • Maintain a realistic long-term sales pipeline for multi-domain rail projects.
  • Develop familiarity with local and regional rail associations and provide recommendations on upcoming symposiums and trade fairs.
  • Record all business development and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Compile local rail regulations and forward them to the company’s head office.
  • Prepare regular status reports covering activities, deal closures, and follow-up actions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive go-to-market mindset and the ability to build connections with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2.
  • Mobile, flexible, and willing to travel for business across the region.
  • Male candidates are required.
