Our client is a leading technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Promote the company as a leading rail competence provider in the region.
- Develop a strong understanding of the local customer base, competitor landscape, and potential partner network.
- Identify new sales opportunities through networking, proactive industry monitoring, and market research.
- Identify and follow up on relevant public and private tenders from the early stages, then forward them to the company’s head office for assessment.
- Provide local insights and input to support tender preparation by the company’s head office when required.
- Build and maintain relationships with local rail customers, while understanding their needs, requirements, and constraints.
- Search for and identify suitable rail partners for the company, initiate first contact, and prepare partner profile dossiers for assessment by the company’s head office.
- Schedule and prepare meetings and presentations for the company’s global rail experts with potential customers and partners.
- Maintain a realistic long-term sales pipeline for multi-domain rail projects.
- Develop familiarity with local and regional rail associations and provide recommendations on upcoming symposiums and trade fairs.
- Record all business development and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
- Compile local rail regulations and forward them to the company’s head office.
- Prepare regular status reports covering activities, deal closures, and follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive go-to-market mindset and the ability to build connections with diverse stakeholders.
- Good presentation skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2.
- Mobile, flexible, and willing to travel for business across the region.
- Male candidates are required.
