This role is responsible for executing the regional sales strategy, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and promoting the full range of NOV Tuboscope's products and services. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, monitor market trends, and ensure exceptional customer support to achieve sustainable revenue growth. Responsibilities
  • Execute the regional sales and business development strategy in line with the MEA Business Plan and growth objectives.

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa, expanding NOV Tuboscope's presence across key industry segments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national and international operators, drilling contractors, OCTG manufacturers, service companies, EPC contractors, distributors, and other strategic customers.

  • Promote NOV Tuboscope's full portfolio of inspection, corrosion control, drill pipe technologies, coatings, hardbanding, machining, and related products and services.

  • Develop account strategies and regional market plans to maximize revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting through the CRM system.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Line, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution and exceptional customer support.

  • Prepare business development plans, sales forecasts, customer presentations, and performance reports for regional management.

  • Support the launch and commercialization of new products and technologies across the region.

  • Participate in regional sales reviews, customer visits, industry events, and technical presentations to strengthen NOV's market position.

  • Ensure compliance with NOV policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements while representing the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, coupled with relevant work experience.
  • 12 years' experience in a regional management position is preferred.
  • Experience in corrosion control (Coatings, non-metallic) as well as inspection and machining business
  • Ability to create and track individual targets and metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English as the primary language.
  • Well-versed in regional culture and computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Understanding of midstream and upstream business operations.
  • Previous experience working with local and international operators, drilling contractors, and service companies.
  • Experience with semi-government entities is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
  • Relevant professional work experience
  • Experience in corrosion control, including coatings and non-metallics, inspection, and machining
