Job Summary
The
Independent Business Developer will be responsible for leading business growth,
identifying commercial opportunities, and converting high-value prospects into
profitable accounts. This is a high-autonomy, execution-focused role suited for
a strategic salesperson who can engage directly with corporate decision-makers,
manage complex client accounts, and lead competitive tender processes from
initial sourcing to final deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify
and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and private
sector markets.
- Drive
direct sales of Alpha & Jam’s advertising solutions, including static
billboards & digital screens.
- Build and
maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and strategic partners.
- Source, analyze,
and manage tender opportunities from identification to submission and follow-up.
- Develop
winning proposals, and partnership offers.
- Prepare
high-quality presentations, pitch decks, and client-facing materials to support
business acquisition.
- Lead
negotiations and close deals in line with company revenue targets.
- Conduct
market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Work
closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution after deal
closure.
- Maintain a
healthy pipeline of prospects and provide regular business development reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of
5 years proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships.
- Demonstrated
ability to source and close high-value deals independently.
- Excellent
proposal writing, presentation, and pitching skills.
- Proficiency
in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, or similar presentation tools.
- Strong
negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Good
understanding of B2B sales cycles and enterprise account management.
- Experience
in advertising, media, digital marketing, or OOH industry is an added
advantage.
Skills Required
