As a Consultant in our R&D Business Consulting practice, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with Technology, Data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.
R&D Business Consulting supports biopharma, medtech, animal and consumer health customers with solving business problems across the R&D value chain but also specifically within Clinical, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory domains.
You will be part of a global team delivering meaningful and high-impact projects with a variety of organisations from Top 20 Pharma to small/mid-sized organisations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project workstreams from end-to-end, ensuring the high-quality design and delivery of customer solutions
- Solve complex problems for Life Sciences leaders, leveraging Veeva’s unique data and software insights
- Mentor and manage Associate Consultants, overseeing their work and professional development within your workstream
- Drive practice growth by contributing to business development and internal IP creation
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in Life Sciences Consulting (Business or Management Consulting preferred)
- Domain Knowledge: Proven expertise in Clinical Data/Operations, Regulatory or Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
- Analytical Rigor: A strong mindset for both quantitative and qualitative reasoning
- Communication: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Compensation
- Total compensation: 63,000 - 95,000 EUR
- The total compensation range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential total compensation range for this role. Please note that actual total compensation may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position's total compensation may be composed of other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and excellent academic record
- 2+ years of consulting experience
- Strong Life Sciences background with interest in R&D value chain or expertise in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Strategy & Operations, or Quality and Safety
- Good understanding of technologies used in R&D
- Familiarity with Veeva platforms and solutions
- Understanding of business capabilities and drivers of digital technology in health and life sciences and market trends
- Proven analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and strong problem-solving mindset
- Demonstrated leadership in delivery of outcomes and ability to manage project workstreams
- Highly efficient project management skills
- Skilled facilitator and collaborator across teams
- Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels and quickly establish credibility
- Strong personal impact; ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
- Effective verbal and written communication in English and the local office language
- Legal authorization to be employed in the EU (including Switzerland) or the UK for candidates in those locations
- Post-graduate qualification (PhD, MD, MBA)
- Experience with digital technologies (platforms, channels, analytics tools, apps, emerging tech)
- Experience working with SaaS solutions
- Fluency in additional European languages
