Job DescriptionThe Business Analyst is responsible for conducting business analysis activities through stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation to support system enhancements, process improvements, and delivery initiatives. This role works closely with business, product, development, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and successfully implemented to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct meetings and interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand project objectives, scope, and requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze information related to business or system issues, process improvements, and automation opportunities.
- Evaluate business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
- Prepare business design documents, including process flow diagrams and wireframes.
- Develop business and technical documentation such as user stories, requirement specifications, and API/Swagger references.
- Create and maintain standard templates for requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with product owners on roadmap planning and prioritization of requirements to support future product functionality and releases.
- Assist QA teams in test planning activities and review test cases to ensure requirements are adequately covered.
- Support delivery initiatives by ensuring requirements are clearly documented, validated, and aligned with business needs.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in CASA, Time Deposit, banking, or financial services-related roles.
- Experience involving end-to-end financial transactions is acceptable.
- Prior experience managing multi-stakeholder projects is highly preferred.
